Cow Appreciation Day

Did you know that July 15th is “Cow Appreciation” day?
Well, now you do. And I do appreciate these black and white beauties. They provided nourishing milk which I retrieved twice a day when I was back on the farm in northern England.
During one of the milking sessions, a cow decided to “relieve herself” all over my head! I had to use the teat washer on my hair… Let’s just say that a milking parlor turned into a beauty parlor for ten minutes.
It wasn’t Mardi’s fault. It was definitely grumpy Gina’s fault.
